In 2024, MPSOURCE launched the world’s first-ever speaker plug terminal with directionality.

It is widely known that during the manufacturing process, crystalline structures in copper form a directional alignment due to extrusion and mold pressing. When electrical signals flow in the same direction as the crystal structure, the transmission is smoother and the frequency response more complete.

While only a few cable manufacturers globally produce copper or silver wires according to this directional principle, MPSOURCE is one of the few that consistently applies it to Hi-End audio cables. However, when it comes to speaker plug terminals, MPSOURCE is the first to bring this concept into a finished product.

This world-first directional speaker plug terminal is named Rhino.

What makes Rhino unique is that directionality is measured and implemented from the very first stages of copper tube material processing. MPSOURCE then adds unique shape markers on each terminal, allowing users to instantly identify and install the correct signal direction with ease and confidence.
