继X-3MK2在市场上热销后MPS推出全新设计的X-5Leopard，用来取代X-3MK2。X-5Leopard目标是制作出市场上最高端的3.5mm对2RCA信号线，它采用了MPS最新开发的Fish-4B高级RCA头端子以及全新开发的Sword Tiger 3.5mm端子头制成，内部连接线更使用MPS独家的X-5镀银密缠线（此工法须以特殊机器缠绕且相当费时，没单股制作成型时间约为一般铜丝成型时间的5倍，也就是说，6股线成型时间为一般铜丝的30倍时间，这种设计的好处是，兼具铜与银的双重优点——银的干净解析力，铜的温暖与具有Power感的低频表现，却无这两者的缺点），然后以每声道独立输出的方式双线并行排列，生产时焊点部分更使用了无铅含银焊锡焊接制作。

 应用范围：iPod，随声听，行动电话，PC或MAC电脑耳机扩大机，主动式喇叭或Mixer其他电子混音设备。
